Chichester - pubs near the station?
Feeling a bit noirvus but where better to ask for first date advice than here??? Chichester train station. Beerintheevening says there are several pubs nearby but personal experience would help here. It's DELICATE.

I ain't paying £5 for her fucking large Sauvignon either so if there's a Spoons that'd be bob on. Ta.

Are you coming down to give me a good hiding? I'll need plenty of warning to prepare. Might not be in Chichester though, turns out this bird was a good two stone fatter than her pictures. Disengenuous advertising.

The Vestry is a dive, David, or it was when we used to drink there.

G&D is alright.

I'll be down in Chi soon for a leaving do as it goes.

Ended up in the VESTRY then the George & Dragon. Got in all sorts of trouble with the white strides/dirty Chilean red. Like a scene from Hamburger Hill. What did she order, you ask? Bombay Sapphire from the off, wallop. Moving onto Gin 47s. Ended with Prosecco and a chat about gardening.

Tune in for date 2.

Many who are born these leave. Mainly because we get fed up building wicker men for all the white jean-wearing blokes that try to shag local lasses...

I grew up in Chichester. If you wore white jeans there, the chances are they would burn you alive in a big wicker man. And rightly so.

If you're not willing to spring for a fiver for a glass of wine on a first date, then I'd suggest the whole thing probably isn't worth doing.

If you really want this to go well, I'd go somewhere decent. There will be plenty of other opportunities to be stingy with drinks later down the line if you play this one right. If you actually don't give a shit, then yeah, just go to wetherspoons.

Getting the train shortly. She's chosen some bastard gastro bar/restaurant/gayhaven. Was thinking Fred Perry, skinny white jeans, adidas Sambas. Now it's a whole new kettle of fish. Probably going to have to be a pair of scoobies and a mac and hope the train doesn't crash.

Is it Katy PERRY, Dave?

I'd be anxious about dating her too.

I have noticed that all women between the ages of 26 and 36 in Britain are either named Sarah or some variation of Katherine. Did a law get passed or something?
